Description

Vendor Managed Inventory Manager is responsible for managing and maintaining customer inventory replenishment levels and stock models according to a set schedule and targets. They oversee logistics, delivery, ordering, and system issues that could affect inventory replenishment goals.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and analyze utilization, product availability, pricing, and lead times to develop VMI models.
Understand VMI parameters, calculations, and data feeds for accurate replenishment orders.
Create reports to track metrics, identify trends, and address inventory level issues.
Supervise staff in their daily tasks.
Ensure project goals are met and adhere to budgets.
Make decisions on VMI machinery and collaborate with Market Manager and VMI Accounts.
Oversee the MyBis program for VMI.
Possess in-depth knowledge of purchasing functions.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Education preferred.
3-5 years of experience in Inventory and Vendor Management.
1-3 years of supervisory experience.
Extensive understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
Preferred certification in SCCMP.
