We are looking for an
Operations Service Representative, so if you're passionate about improving people's financial health, we'd like to hear from you.


This position may be required for shift work with extended hours; any hours past the defined standard hours will be paid a differential of twenty-five cents (.25 cents) per hour above the employee's regular rate for all hours worked after 6:00 pm.


What's the role?


As an
Operations Service Representative, under general supervision, you assist in providing efficient and timely support to the department and branches.

You are also required to back-up various tasks within the Central Operations Department.

Operations Service Representative to carry the vision statement forward in order to build, maintain, attract and expand the member's relationship with the credit union.

As the
Operations Service Representative you will provide friendly, professional service in an efficient, financially responsible manner.


Your duties will include:

  • Work is routine but varied, requiring the incumbent to provide assistance to others to achieve optimal departmental and organizational performance.
  • Answers and responds to telephone inquiries as required.
  • Performs other related duties as required/directed.

What are we looking for?

  • 13 years financial experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • Successfully completed CUIC 185 and/or CUIC 200 and be actively pursuing the CUIC Fellow Designation;
  • Successfully completed the MSR II exam
  • Above average MSR demonstrated skills are required.
Ideally, you are a flexible, collaborative team player with:

  • Extensive knowledge with all basic Coastal Community Credit Union products and services is required, as well as the banking system.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate in a clear, concise manner is required to transfer information and understanding to members.
  • Effective listening skills to and engage members/team members in conversation to understand and identify their needs to provide resolution through sourcing information and matching an appropriate product/service/support; as well as provide a referral to the appropriate individual to complete the request if required.
  • The ability to multitask with above average keyboarding and internet/computer navigation skills for searching online client data and product information while simultaneously conversing with the member is essential to ensure that members receive excellent member service.
  • In addition, you must be a strong team player who prioritizes and exhibits initiative to assist in the completion of projects and work within specific time constraints in a high paced environment.
