    SUMMARY:
    In order to make our grocery store operations ever more efficient, Metro is setting up a continuous improvement team whose mandate will be to identify and implement initiatives to improve our operational excellence in order to better serve our customers. Whether it's implementing technological solutions or reviewing ways of doing things, the continuous improvement team will work in collaboration with the operations teams of our banners (Metro Québec, Metro Ontario, Super C, Food Basics, Adonis) to simplify and improve the experience of our customers and employees.

    The incumbent, in collaboration with a multi-departmental team, has as his main mandate the management, analysis and measurement of transformation and continuous improvement projects within our banners.

    This role requires a mastery of continuous improvement tools as well as a comprehensive understanding of the modern retail supply chain; including business processes in grocery stores.

    SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
    - Define, plan and implement pilot projects and carry out measurements and feasibility studies to demonstrate the cost-effectiveness of the pilots and make a recommendation for their deployment.
    - Calculate and validate the return on investment of transformation projects.
    - Manage project execution, quality of deliverables, on-time and on-budget compliance.
    - Define performance indicators, measure and communicate the progress and benefits of projects.
    - Contribute to the identification of value-added projects.
    - Synthesize and popularize sometimes complex issues and present conclusions in an executive manner.
    - Analyze, document and map business processes.
    - Support project stakeholders in change management (identification of potential impacts, development and execution of the change management plan).
    - Create and analyze information dashboards
    - Automate data delivery to stakeholders and provide insights.

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    - Bachelor's degree (business discipline an asset) or Operations Management experience equivalent.
    - Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in data management (In a grocery retail environment an asset)
    - Highly Proficient in MS Office software
    - Highly Proficient in Power BI or equivalent dashboarding tools.
    - Highly Proficient programming skills ( C, C++, Python, Java, Go.)
    - Certification Lean Six Sigma (asset)
    - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    - Ability to manage multiple projects at once
    - Bilingualism is essential (French and English, spoken and written)
    - Ability to influence and negotiation skills
    - Ability to work on multiple files with external and internal partners
    - Sense of organization and responsibility
    - Ability to adapt
