The City of Edmonton selected Marigold Infrastructure Partners to design and build the 14-kilometre Valley Line West LRT project from downtown to Lewis Farms.

Construction has begun and will take five to six years to complete.

Marigold is a design-build joint venture agreement between Colas and Parsons.

We are looking for an experienced Technical Quality Coordinator to oversee all aspects of Quality Documentation.

The Technical Quality Coordinator's responsibilities include reviewing all quality records to ensure completeness and correctness and verify alignment with the Project Breakdown Structure.


The Technical Quality Coordinator and Handover Lead, as part of the Quality Systems role is responsible for supporting Investigations, Corrective Actions, Quality-related metrics, internal and external audits and making an effort for a continual improvement of the Quality Processes.

The Technical Quality Coordinator and Handover Lead reports directly to the Project Quality Manager.


Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Support external ISO 9001 registration and assessment audit programs
  • Verify all quality records and handover records are tied to the correct package as per the overall Project Breakdown Structure
  • Assist in performing internal and external audits to ensure conformance with the Quality Management System and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Manage the NCR data base and maintain an uptodate NCR dashboard
  • Liaise and communicate with the responsible persons to ensure timely closure of the NCRs
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the corrective actions through surveillance audits and random checks
  • Manage all Quality Forms, update them as necessary, and ensure latest revisions are being used consistently all the time.
  • Keep tracking of all Field-Initiated Changes and Site Queries and perform surveillance audits to ensure conformance with the associated Quality Procedures.
  • Perform site inspection and surveillance to ensure construction component are being constructed in accordance with requirements of its final design

Skills and Qualification Requirements:


  • 5+ years of experience working with quality systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management systems.
  • Detailoriented with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisation skills.
  • Excellent decisionmaking and problemsolving skills.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Certified in Alberta as an Engineer in Training or certified engineering technologist
  • Certified ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor (Plus)
  • Any other certified quality related designation (Plus)
