Analyst, Urban & Away from Home


Contract:
Term to March 2025


Hours: 8am-4pm, 8:30am-4:30pm, or 9am-5pm (Subject to change based on discussion with supervisor and nature of travel/work)

Location:
Park Royal and/or Alberni (Hybrid - minimum 50% in the office)


About the role

As the Analyst, you will undertake review, analysis, synthesis, and aggregation and representation of information to support visibility and progress measurement, decision-making and planning, in accordance with the mandate of the First Nations Health Authority.

You will also have an opportunity to contribute to the UAH team by supporting engagement, communications, UAH data and partnerships.

This role reports to the Director, Urban and Away from Home.
Travel within the province of BC is required in this position.

About you
To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A University degree in Public or Health Administration or Social Sciences or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • 35 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of working with First Nations leadership and communities
  • Relevant and recent experience in writing and analysis, ideally in the health sector or with First Nations issues and priorities
  • Experience in research
  • Experience in providing technical meeting support
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must
  • Strong interpersonal skills and be able to work in a team and independently
