    CLINICAL ASSISTANT | Edmonton

    • You hold a permanent full-time position (40hrs/week).

    Your tasks at a glance
    • You assist during the pre-op exams and fill the patient's charts accurately.
    • You answer patient's questions and ensure the best service.
    • You work closely with Optometrists.
    • You conduct pre-operative and post-operative tests for patients.
    • You update the appointment system after every patient's consultation.
    • You confirm by phone post-operative appointments.
    • You will be cross-trained for the Receptionist position.
    A clear view of your assets
    • You have excellent communication skills in English.
    • You are comfortable with computers, technology, and Microsoft 365 (knowledge of EMR systems is an asset).
    • You have an interest in the medical field and have a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
    • You find it easy to connect with others and quickly build trust.
    • Your experience in the health care field is considered an asset (ex: optometry assistant, orderly, dental assistant, pharmacy lab technician, sterilization assistant, animal health technician assistant, etc.).
    • Schedule: Monday-Friday from 8 am to 4:40 pm, with occasional Saturdays.
    • Required: You are comfortable traveling (for training and work) between our three Edmonton locations: King LASIK, LASIK MD South & LASIK MD North West.
