Touchmark at Wedgewood, Dementia Units, Lessard Road Edmonton. June 2022

Edmonton General Hospital, Unit 12Y, Jasper Ave Edmonton. Oct-Nov 2022

Misericordia Community Hospital, Unit 6W, 87th Ave, Edmonton. Dec 2022

 

During these placements I passed assessments for HCA duties including:

  • Helping with activities of daily living such as bathing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, and transferring.
  • Assisting at mealtimes including feeding residents
  • Experience with blood glucose monitoring (Chemstrips) and Catheter Care 
  • Measuring vital signs
  • Keeping residents’ company with entertainment, games and conversations

In addition, I bring 20+ years of experience in customer care and client relations with many transferable skills including:

  • Cultivating and maintaining trusted relationships 
  • Collaboration and problem solving with internal partners & clients
  • Scheduling and time management
