Position Summary


The Planner will coordinate and drive day-to-day procurement, project forecast, planning, and information management activities by partnering with Sourcing & Production to ensure project deliverables are being met.


_Procurement Demand Forecasting_

  • Work closely with global executive management, divisional managers, procurement specialist, production planners, project managers and business development leads to assure accurate forecasting of procurement demand and project execution milestones.
  • Collect, maintain & analyze sales demand forecasts to ensure up to date procurement forecasts.
  • Hold weekly calls with BD and Procurement to manage and maintain procurement forecasting data.
  • Hold weekly calls with Production Planning and Procurement to present updates demand forecasting.
  • Produce a biweekly procurement demand forecast for major equipment, including but not limited to battery energy storage products and inverter products

  • Prepare detailed project Gantt charts and consolidated master project Gantt charts for tracking project progress on an ongoing basis.
  • Coordinate with global manufacturing, project management, purchasing, and logistics groups to ensure accurate project execution forecasting.

_ General Duties_

  • Work closely with the business development team to maintain sales planning pipeline, Key Projects List and milestone schedules, and provide preliminary schedules for project opportunities
  • Develop & implement processes & process improvements related to forecasting & planning to adapt to rapid growth & development of the company.
  • Collaborate with global team to develop & maintain analytical tools for procurement forecasting, supplier performance and project operations data.
  • Draft and maintain project milestone schedule exhibits to aid contracting activities.
  • Assist with contract management and planning as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

&

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Inventory Management, or relatable degree
  • Desired
  • 24 years procurement, forecasting, and planning experience within the renewable energy industry or automotive manufacturing space with a focus on equipment.
  • MS Office Word, Excel (formulas, pivot tables, macros, charts & graphs, etc.), PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Salesforce, MS Power BI, Project Management Software, ERP systems.
  • Experience managing and analyzing data & information to support overall procurement, forecasting, and planning.
  • Proven experience functioning in a fastpaced deadline sensitive environment with competing deliverables.
  • Experience working in a crosscollaborative crosscultural
  • Excellent problemsolving skills, ability to communicate business needs in a clear and concise manner, ability to take ownership of deliverables, and able to work crosscollaborative & crosscultural environment.
