    Description

    This role plays a key part in creating a top-notch shopping experience for all Farm Boy customers by ensuring excellent service to customers, employees, and suppliers. The role must align with the Farm Boy Way.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Deliver outstanding customer service to support Farm Boy's commitment to providing the best fresh shopping experience.
    • Demonstrate a deep love for food and confidently address customer inquiries.
    • Follow Farm Boy Service Standards to greet customers warmly and offer assistance when needed.
    • Handle packaging, stocking, and rotating display counters to maintain high-quality products with accurate labeling.
    • Maintain cleanliness and safety in work and storage areas through general housekeeping tasks like sweeping and dusting.
    • Adhere to all corporate policies, particularly those related to Health and Safety, Food Safety, and equipment usage.
    • Execute specified opening and closing procedures and support team members as necessary.
    • Be open to undertaking additional tasks when required.

    Qualifications:

    • Exceptional customer service, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
    • Prior experience in retail or a relevant educational background.
    • Ability to work independently with a strong focus on quality, attention to detail, and cleanliness.
    • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, within a team setting.
    • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
    • Proficiency in both English and French is a bonus.

    Work Environment:

    • Stand for extended periods during shifts.
    • Lift heavy objects when necessary.
    • Adapt to varying temperatures, including exposure to coolers and freezers.
