Learning Experience Lead.


Contract:
Permanent.


Hours:
Full-Time/37.5 hours per week (core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri).

Location:
Park Royal, West Vancouver/Hybrid (50% in office).


About the role

About you:


  • To be successful in this role you will have/be:_
- _Undergraduate Degree (Master's preferred) in Computer Science, Adult Education, Educational Technology, Training Design or Delivery, Curriculum Design or, Higher Education._
- _3-5 Years' experience creating and designing engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances learner retention and transfer._
- _Excellent knowledge of adult learning theories, instructional design models and curriculum development._
- _Experience with various Learning Management Systems, including thorough understanding of various Moodle modules, experience customizing Moodle functionalities and developing custom themes for Moodle including recent, relevant experience integrating plug-ins._
- _Proven experience with Moodle API and integration with third party systems._


You may have experience in:
- _Working with Subject Matter Experts, Internal and External Stakeholders to implement the institution's curriculum development and design frameworks, ensuring curriculum relevancy and meeting quality assurance standards._
- _Supporting and promoting bi-cultural (two eyed) practice based interdisciplinary curriculum initiatives._
- _Leading curriculum development and design projects (i.e. - courses and programs) to ensure integration/consistency in all aspects of the institution's curriculum._
- _Leading the development and implementation of the institution's academic and training programming involving the FNHDA and its partners._
- _Making recommendations pertaining to policy, procedure, best practices and programming mix to the Director, FNHDA Member Learning and Development._
