    Description

    Here's what we do...CMI sources and processes recycled ferrous and non-ferrous metals across North America and ensure they do not end up in a landfill or go to waste.

    Our recycling stream ensures that all the ferrous and non-ferrous metals that enter our yards will create something new againWe are looking for an organized and enthusiastic Transportation Administrator.

    You will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Transportation department.
    Key Responsibilities

    • Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries
    • Provide exceptional customer service and address any concerns or complaints
    • Assist with the administration of tracking program and liaise with other departments to resolve any concerns
    • Manage inventory and purchase consumables for company when required
    • Support planned and unplanned absences in Customer Service
    • Data entry and reporting
    • Sort and distribute drivers paperwork
    • Filing and distribute mail
    • Perform other related duties as assignedWhat will make you a valued member of our team?
    • High School Graduate
    • Post-secondary education in an administration or business program is an asset
    • Minimum of two (2) years of administrative experience
    • Customer service oriented, possess tact and judgement in dealing with difficult and demanding customers
    • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
    • Intermediate computer skills with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
    • Must be able to respond to tight deadlines during regular and peak periods and to last-minute demands and requirements
    • Organized, detailed oriented, ability to prioritize tasks
    • Ability to work with little supervision
