Position Summary


The Resident Service Manager reports to the VP, Asset & Property Management and is responsible for managing the property located at Hollywood Court, Cambridge, Ontario, in an efficient and effective manner with the highest level of customer service both residents and owners.

Operate within our standards of safety, high quality customer service and efficient operations.


Essential Duties:


  • Supervise and manage administrative and operational staff at the properties within the property, including administrative staff, leasing staff, cleaning & maintenance staff, and third party vendors.
  • Maintain the highest level of customer service in relation to residents through promptly addressing residents' needs and concerns.
  • Direct and manage resident functions in such a matter as to win and maintain the respect and goodwill of all residents.
  • Monitor resident service requests and arrange for repairs as required in a timely fashion.
  • Monitor the timely receipt and reconciliation of rent collections and ensure that relevant statures are followed. Communicate with residents (verbal and/or written) about rent collections.
  • Code and approve invoices from suppliers and contractors to appropriate accounts as per operating budget.
  • Conduct preinspection and vacate inspection of units.
  • Arrange unitturnover of vacant suite to ensure suites are up to building standards for incoming tenants.
  • Ensure correct and up to date Management Reports including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, variances and monthly inspection reports.
  • Prepare annual operating budget in collaboration with the finance team and senior management team.
  • Adhere to property management standards including: legislative requirements, compliance, safety standards and emergency response procedures.
  • Plan, monitor and execute preventative maintenance work to ensure preservation and longevity of building's assets.
  • Develop scope of work for service contracts, negotiate pricing and prepare paperwork.
  • Conduct weekly / monthly inspections of the common areas of the property and rectify any deficiencies.
  • Take initiative to propose improvements of property management processes or procedures.
  • Curate/organize resident events geared to resident interests to increase resident engagement.

Qualification:


  • Residential Property Management, Hospitality, and/or Luxury/High End Retail experience desired
  • Knowledge of Yardi is a bonus

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
From $75,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
