    Description

    Responsibilities:

    Reporting directly to the Employment Services Manager, the Administrative Assistant III will be responsible for ensuring quality clerical support to Gabriel Dumont Institute Training & Employment through effective communication, organization, and technical skill.

    Duties will include but not be limited to; front end reception, clerical support, responding to and directing public inquiries, arranging for travel, booking client appointments, organizing meetings, developing and maintaining spreadsheets, and any other duties assigned by the Employment Services Manager.

    Qualifications:

    A demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with Institute staff and other external agencies; extensive understanding of Métis culture, employment and training needs of Métis.

    The successful candidate will have a certificate or diploma in Office Education, Office Administration, business college training or equivalent experience.

    Microsoft Office, Advanced Excel, Outlook, mail merge and other computer skills are essential. The successful candidate must have strong organizational skills and work independently.

    Term:
    July 2, 2024 – March 31, 2025 (Possibility of extension)
    Remuneration:
    As per GDI AA 3 salary grid
