    Location: Walker Office, Oakville, ON

    Role Overview:

    As the Product Manager reporting to the Director of Business Development, your primary goal will be to bring new and current innovative products successfully to market. Your role involves setting success standards, collaborating with Sales, Technical, and Research & Development (R&D) teams, and aiding in the commercialization of new products for the Walker Emulsions group. To excel, you must possess skills in spotting and evaluating business opportunities, conducting market analysis, and executing marketing campaigns.

    In this role, your responsibilities include:

    • Developing end-to-end marketing strategies.
    • Assessing product functionality, performance, and appeal using key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Collaborating with various teams to devise and execute marketing plans and gather feedback on new product concepts.
    • Supporting product launches and transitions.
    • Creating comprehensive marketing strategies for new products.
    • Maintaining market awareness and refining product development strategies.
    • Evaluating marketing campaign effectiveness and making adjustments based on market trends.
    • Building and executing brand strategies.
    • Providing insights to the R&D team on customer requirements.

    Essential Qualities for Success:

    • Collaborator: Able to work with a diverse range of individuals.

    Requirements:

    • Experience: Minimum 4 years in product management, preferably in the chemical industry.
    • Education: Completion of a 2-3 year college diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, or Marketing.
    • License: Valid G Registration Ontario driver's license.

    Travel:

    • Occasional travel within North America (15% of the time) and internationally with a valid passport.
    • Rare international travel may be required.
