JOB OPPORTUNITY:
HOST
We are currently looking for experienced
Host to join our busy Food and Beverage team.

This positions will be responsible for being a point of contact for guest reservations and seating upon arrival at the restaurant area for both inside and outside/patio dining.

May assist with assisting servers with all relevant tasks; setting and cleansing dining room tables before, during and after meal service; ensures cleanliness is maintained in the restaurant.

An Overview of Key Responsibilities:

Greet members as soon as they walk through the door in a warm and friendly manner and ensure members feel welcomed and valued.
Food and beverage knowledge including being able to explain the layout, contents and general theme of all food menus including but not limited to specials, daily offerings and upcoming menus & events.
Work alongside Supervisors to update menus and offerings in the POS system.
Provide members with accurate wait time estimates during busy periods.
Maintain a neat, organized frontofhouse environment.
Ability to proactively meet guest needs and resolve problems if they arise.
Assist with opening/closing tasks and extra tasks as needed.
Rotate seating between different stations to ensure even workloads for waitstaff.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as directed.

Job Requirements:

Minimum of 6 months' experience with food serving and providing customer service in hospitality industry or the private Club industry is an asset.
Able to perform highquality work while unsupervised.
Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multitask and work under pressure
Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
The utmost of professionalism and attention to detail
Ability to work flexible hours & shifts: days, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Smart Serve certification is required.
