Position Summary

  • An understanding of how to work within a marketing team on a variety of projects.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Write and post content on social media and monitor company social channels.
  • Basic graphic design tasks for web marketing, ensuring brand standards are met.
  • Edit content on existing websites.
  • Assist Marketing Communications team with other initiatives as necessary.
**Qualifications
**Education

  • Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a postsecondary institution with studies in marketing, communications, business management, or similar field.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience

  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Strong understanding of social media best practices and trends.
  • Basic graphic design skills.
  • Selfmotivated and able to independently develop solutions to openended problems.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and multitask.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Working understanding of HTML and CSS.

Bonus Points if you have experience with:

  • Social media management tools (eg. Hootsuite, HubSpot, etc.).
  • Video editing skills.
  • Adobe Suite including PhotoShop and Illustrator.
  • WordPress, Elementor, Gutenberg.
