    Description
    About the role:
    Employee Relations Advisors (ER Advisor) provide guidance to help the organization manage human capital effectively. The Employee Relations Center (ERC) handles various areas such as employee relations, policy interpretation, and investigations. They ensure consistent disciplinary practices, offer guidance on company policies, and comply with laws and regulations.
    What you'll do:
    • Manage incoming requests via email and phone
    • Resolve employee relations concerns promptly and effectively
    • Handle multiple cases of varying complexity
    • Track, document, and manage cases daily
    • Provide guidance to leaders and coworkers
    • Ensure consistency, fairness, and alignment with company values
    • Identify trends and collaborate with HR
    • Facilitate HR-related training
    • Contribute to projects and initiatives
    • Investigate coworker complaints and disputes
    • Prepare investigative reports
    • Collaborate with legal counsel
    • Review findings with Executives
    • Prepare documents and recommend resolutions
    • Ensure proper documentation
    • Assist with litigation charge responses
    • Partner with Benefits department
    What we're looking for:
    • 5+ years of employee relations experience
    • CPHR or CHRP certifications are a plus
    • Key Skills and Abilities
    • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
    • Business acumen
    • Coaching, conflict resolution, and consulting skills
    • Ability to influence and negotiate
    • Strong communication and analytical skills
    • Capacity to manage multiple issues concurrently
    • Confidentiality and sensitivity
    • Experience with leave of absence
    • Previous experience in a centralized employee relations team is beneficial
    • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
    • Attention to detail
    • Effective communication in English and other languages
    • Strong leadership and organizational skills
    • Adaptability and ability to work under pressure
    • Promotion of ethical standards
    • Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively
    • Empathy and sensitivity
