Description

The position is full time, working forty hours per week.

As we are a 24 hour, 365 days a year environment, you can expect that weekend and holiday work will be a part of your position with us, as will assisting with covering other shifts during vacation and sick calls.

The How_**- Answer incoming calls requesting help, make outgoing calls to clients and to police and fire agencies, perform incoming data entry requests and support the other operators on shift

Access to reliable transportation is recommended as transit in the area is very limited.
The position requires a contribution to the team effort through a combination of good work ethic, keen attention to detail and quick response to rapidly changing circumstances.

What we need_**- Proven experience use of a multi-line telephone in a business setting

Experience in a call centre an asset
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
Fluency in French is desired, but not required
Ability to work effectively in a team environment

- previous experience in building strong client relationships through good customer service

Microsoft Office Word/Excel

- must have flexible schedule to allow working afternoons, midnights, weekends and

statutory holidays

Able and willing to adjust schedule on short notice due to sick calls and other emergencies
