- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering, or its equivalent in a related technical field, preferably with a minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering.
- Experience working with and troubleshooting pneumatics, hydraulics, fastening/joining systems and conveyance.
- Proficient technical aptitude in quality systems, regulations, design, and maintenance, particularly fastening and joining systems.
- Demonstrated technical project management experience.
- General knowledge of manufacturing processes, application, and operations, preferably in automotive industry.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple issues in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to work on rotating shifts as required (primarily a dayshift role).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex issues.
- Proficient interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Maximo, SAP Ariba - preferred.
- Experience working in a unionized manufacturing operation - preferred.
