The British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives ("BCCNM") is the college empowered under the Health Professions Act to regulate the practice of all licensed practical nurses, nurse practitioners, registered midwives, registered nurses, andregistered psychiatric nurses in British Columbia.

Our office is closed for the 11 statutory holidays in B.Reporting to the Chief Officer, Communications & People, the Change Management Consultant (CMC) plays a key role in enabling BCCNM's Business Transformation (BT).
The CMC will support management and staff to understand and adapt to changes, will work to manage resistance and to obtain buy-in through ongoing engagement and communication.
The CMC will be a key member of the internal change team for this multi-year Business Transformation (BT) initiative and will work with and under the general guidance of the Organizational Development Consultant along with the Director, Communications.
BCCNM is seeking a temporary part-time consultant or employee that can commit to a minimum of 2-3 days per week over the next 36 months.
Specific days and hours may fluctuate as specific projects within the program are launched. Focuses on the human aspect of change using recognized standard change management methods.Works to support and guide changes for internal teams on all projects falling within the BT strategic change.
Working closely with the change team and external change vendor, develops and implements OCM strategies and plans to support multiple projects associated with the BT program; supports readiness assessment and capacity building; Works with the change team, external change vendor, leaders and staff to assess the significance and impact of the various changes, on systems, processes and people, assesses impacts on partners and barriers, evaluates results and recommends strategies and approaches to mitigate those impacts (including behavioral shifts) and to support the adoption of the change management approach; identifies and escalates project risks to the change team for evaluation
Effectively builds relationships, participates on project teams and provides support to achieve the desired business results and successful collaboration across the BT program; Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or related discipline, plus 5 to 7 years of change related experience or an equivalent level of education, training, and experience.
Recognized training and/or certification in change management (PROSCI, CCMP, CMS, etc.) is an asset.Previous involvement in transformational projects with significant change management implications
Experience creating change strategies and plans, including stakeholder analysis, risk management and mitigation.
Strong emotional intelligence demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to build quickly establish trust and rapport with others.
Experience supporting project sponsors and executive management teams.
Advanced skills related to the Microsoft Office suite (especially Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required.
Demonstrated understanding of diversity, inclusion, and cultural humility as they apply to health care.
