Currently, our Company is searching for a talented CNC Saw Operator experienced in the woodworking industry.

You will be responsible for ensuring our Company produces quality parts and tools specific to engineering drawings and client standards.


Your responsibilities:


  • Setting up and operating of Biesse Beam saw.
  • Reading and interpreting cut lists provided by internal clients.
  • Using basic math skills to calculate machine settings.
  • Making sure the right types of materials are used for each work order.
  • Inputting measurements into the machine and feeding it with material.
  • Using measuring tools to ensure quality of parts produced.
  • Performing periodic checks and basic maintenance of equipment.
  • Ability to work independently or as a part of a team.
  • Working with Production Managers and Team Leads in order to deliver production parts on time.
  • Maintaining safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
  • Forklift operating experience is an asset. Training and licensing provided if necessary.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Minimum High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
  • Certificate or diploma in engineering is an advantage.
  • 13 years' experience as a CNC Machine Operator or Beam Saw Operator.
  • Ability to translate mechanical documents and engineering drawings.
  • Great attention to detail with a goaldriven attitude.
  • Strong comprehension and analytical abilities.
  • Good computer and mathematical skills.
