Currently, our Company is searching for a talented CNC Saw Operator experienced in the woodworking industry.You will be responsible for ensuring our Company produces quality parts and tools specific to engineering drawings and client standards.
Your responsibilities:
- Setting up and operating of Biesse Beam saw.
- Reading and interpreting cut lists provided by internal clients.
- Using basic math skills to calculate machine settings.
- Making sure the right types of materials are used for each work order.
- Inputting measurements into the machine and feeding it with material.
- Using measuring tools to ensure quality of parts produced.
- Performing periodic checks and basic maintenance of equipment.
- Ability to work independently or as a part of a team.
- Working with Production Managers and Team Leads in order to deliver production parts on time.
- Maintaining safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Forklift operating experience is an asset. Training and licensing provided if necessary.
What you will bring to the role:
- Minimum High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
- Certificate or diploma in engineering is an advantage.
- 13 years' experience as a CNC Machine Operator or Beam Saw Operator.
- Ability to translate mechanical documents and engineering drawings.
- Great attention to detail with a goaldriven attitude.
- Strong comprehension and analytical abilities.
- Good computer and mathematical skills.
