Internship Opportunity:
Marketing and Communications
The Brampton Honey Badgers of the Canadian Elite Basketball League are seeking a motivated, outgoing and dedicated
guidelines, maintenance of the Honey Badgers website, and supporting Honey Badgers operations and community team.

experience responsibilities in multiple functions of the business.
Responsibilities include:
- Contributing content for Honey Badgers web and other digital platforms, including major announcements, player
marketing campaigns
- Collaborate with sponsorship and ticket sales teams to execute campaigns.
- Create written materials for announcements and campaigns to be showcased across digital platforms.
- Support Honey Badgers community and operations team with community and other team events
- Contribute content to the Honey Badgers Kids Club including brainstorming contests and activities.
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program (preferably in Sport Management, Communications, Marketing,
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Possess strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Highly motivated with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Flexible work schedule including some nights and weekends
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Previous experience maintaining and coordinating social media channels for a business, team, or organization is an
- asset
- Thorough knowledge of the Honey Badgers roster, the CEBL and its teams, and the sport of basketball is an asset
- Knowledge of Mailchimp and RapidPath is an asset
Type of Position:
Internship (Unpaid - Must be for Academic Credit)
Term:
Summer 2024 Semester (May August 2024)
