- Support the team in developing the Renewable Energy portfolio profitably, expanding Aviva's market footprint.
- Underwrite Canadian Renewable Energy business (Onshore Wind, Solar, and BESS) construction and operational risks following Aviva's processes and guidelines.
- Create and manage relationships with brokers and customers.
- Collaborate with the Renewable Energy community through knowledge sharing and participation in industry events.
- Contribute to pipeline management and develop a network for new business growth.
- Enhance external presence by engaging in broker/client events and conferences.
- Maintain high-quality underwriting documentation and ensure adherence to governance frameworks.
- Act as a technical referral point and provide coaching to enhance team effectiveness.
- Lead service and process improvement initiatives based on customer feedback.
- 8 years' experience in Underwriting Energy P&C and Construction.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
- Proficiency in underwriting complex risks for large programs.
- Knowledge of underwriting, pricing, and product in various segments.
- Ability to develop long-term relationships with brokers and customers.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Advanced pipeline management and sales consultation skills.
