- Monitor the shared mailbox and classify requests based on expense type (external billing, internal billing, employee reimbursement.)
- Process grant invoices, expense reimbursements, payment requisitions, fund transfers, and expense transfer requests.
- Work closely with the Princess Margaret Cancer Center and other stakeholders and able to answer their questions related to fund activity.
- Perform cross-functional duties and other duties consistent with the job classification, as required
- University Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
- Accounting / finance experience in the not-for-profit sector preferred
- 3+ year of progressive experience in a finance-related field
- Completion (or near completion) of a CPA designation is an asset
- Experience and knowledge of Not-for-Profit accounting standards, including grants.
- Experience in Microsoft Excel skills is a must (pivot tables, lookup functions, manipulating large volumes of data).
- Experience using Oracle NetSuite financial accounting system is an asset
- Excellent communication skills; ability to communicate confidently and effectively with all levels of management.
- Ability to collaborate well with others, but also effective and working independently; self-starter.
- Ability to safeguard confidential information.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Very well organized to accomplish a multitude of conflicting priorities under tight deadlines.

Position Summary
The Research Financial Services (RFS) department provides post-award financial management of federal, provincial, international and private contracts and grants related to research for six different Research Institutes at University Health Network.
As an integral member of the Grants Administration team within the RFS department, this Financial Analyst II works closely on a daily basis with the finance team of Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.
