    We are looking for people who want to be part of changing the conversation about domestic violence and abuse. We have evolved from our beginnings as the Calgary Women's Emergency Shelter.
    We are relentless in our commitment to our clients, our communities and each other. We are looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist. This position is out of scope with the union and working 35 hours per week Monday-Friday.
    Reporting to the Human Resources Director, this position is accountable for managing the end-end recruitment process from talent acquisition to successful onboarding and integration of new employees


    Sourcing and Recruitment:

    • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs.
    • Utilize social media, professional networks, and other sourcing methods to identify and attract potential candidates.
    • Talent Pipeline Management
    • Develop relationships with universities, professional organizations, and other talent sources to enhance the talent pipeline.
    • Ensuring that onboarding documents adhere to accreditation standards, the collective agreement, and FearIsNotLove policies and processes.
    • Data and Reporting
    • Maintain recruitment data and provide regular reports on recruitment metrics and progress.
    • Use data to evaluate the effectiveness of the recruitment process and make improvements.
    • Utilizing data analytics to monitor retention metrics and trends, informing strategies and interventions as needed.

    Supporting hiring managers in the onboarding process for practicum students and actively participating in career fairs to attract candidates and enhance FearIsNotLove brand.

    Post-Secondary education in Human Resources or Business Administration degree.

    • 3-5 years' experience in full cycle recruitment.
    • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
    • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and HR regulations.
    • Recruitment Expertise: Proficient in sourcing, screening, and selecting candidates through various channels, with a deep understanding of the recruitment life cycle.
    • Employer Branding : Ability to enhance and promote FearIsNotLove brand to attract top talent.
    • Relationship Building : Data-driven Decision-Making: Analytical mindset to use data and metrics in evaluating and improving the recruitment process.
    • Understanding of relevant employment laws and regulations, accreditation standards, the collective agreement and FearIsNotLove policies to ensure ethical recruitment practices.
    35 hours per week Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm
    A valid driver's license and vehicle is required to drive to both locations for onboarding and orientation

    • Effective January 1, 2022 being fully vaccinated against Covid-19 is a condition of employment
    • Ongoing training and development are a required condition of this position
