The SoHo Hotel & Residences, a member of Preferred Hotels and Resorts, is a fully renovated luxury Hotel located in Toronto's Entertainment District.

We offer our guests an unprecedented Hotel experience along with the best Hotel rooms in the city.

As a Houseperson, your duties include:

  • Counting soiled and clean linens and managing the daily in-flow and out-flow of linens and completing linen tracking sheets
  • Distributing toiletries and amenities
  • Vacuuming and spotting carpets
  • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items
  • Handle and report lost and found items
  • General cleaning of guest rooms
  • Delivery and pickup of guest laundry
  • Other duties as assigned in Housekeeping Log Book
  • Note meeting times or posted event orders
  • Other duties as assigned

The qualifications for this position are:

  • Must possess good communication skills
  • Must possess strong organizational and time management skills
  • Previous experience in a service related position would be an asset
  • Availability to work shifts days, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Must have excellent attention to detail
  • Must be guest service focused
  • Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent


Salary:
$21.25 per hour
