    If you're searching for a dynamic job, look no further. As a security guard in the event industry, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and success of events. GardaWorld is seeking licensed Security Guards to join our Special Events and Projects Team in the GTA.

    Responsibilities of a Security Guard at Events

    • Ensure the safety of individuals, assets, and premises
    • Monitor entry and exit points
    • Conduct regular surveillance rounds
    • Act as a liaison with authorities and emergency services
    • Perform tasks such as screening, crowd control, executive protection, escorts, and asset protection

    Requirements for Event Security Guards

    • Valid Security Guard License
    • Valid G/G2 License
    • Current First Aid Certification
    • Smart Serve Certification
    • Minimum 6 months of Tactical Experience
    • Minimum 3 months of Event Experience
    • Access to a vehicle and willingness to travel to different locations

    Preferred certifications:

    • Background in crisis intervention is advantageous but not obligatory
    • Prior military experience is a plus but not required
