Production Manager Automotive - Concord, Canada - ACG Certified Collision Centre
Description
As a Production Management Specialist at CCRC, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing our automotive production processes.
You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and cost-effective manufacturing of vehicles while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance.
Your expertise in production management will be essential to our success.Responsibilities:

Production Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop production plans that meet customer demand while optimizing resources and minimizing downtime.

Team Leadership: Lead and motivate production teams to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets. Ensure that all team members adhere to safety protocols and quality standards.

Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure that all vehicles meet or exceed quality standards. Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions.

Cost Control: Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the production department. Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.

Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels to ensure that production materials and components are readily available when needed, while minimizing excess inventory and associated costs.

Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure that production equipment is well-maintained and operational. Minimize downtime through effective preventive maintenance.

Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to track production performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.

Supplier Relations: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure a steady and reliable supply of automotive components. Negotiate contracts and terms to optimize cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in production management within the automotive industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Valid G license
Salary:
$20.00-$45.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
