My name is Amy Yao, and I'm an illustrator and animator based in Sherwood Park, Alberta. In 2022, I graduated from Alberta University of the Arts with a major in illustration and a minor in animation. 

I've worked with Krita and Photoshop in the past but these days I mostly use Clip Studio Paint. I've used Toon Boom for animation before and am currently experimenting with Blender Grease Pencil.

In the past I have worked as an animation contractor for nonfiction studios. I worked on designing assets for a motion graphics video, taking care to remain within brand guidelines.

I graduated in 2022 from Alberta University of the Arts with a Bachelor of Design, majoring in illustration and minoring in animation.
