I have been working as a Cost Controller at NMB International Ltd. since April 2021. In this role, I engage with clients, manage payroll, review contracts and construction claims, prepare financial statements, analyze disruptions in construction cost and schedule, create budgets, and collaborate with executives for budgeting and financial presentations.

Prior to this, I worked as a Teaching Assistant at Dalhousie University from June 2020 to April 2021. My responsibilities included assisting teachers in classroom management, lesson planning, tutoring, and creating educational materials.

From August 2017 to May 2020, I was a Cost Controller at Golrang Industrial Group (GIC) in Iran, overseeing financial operations for notable projects like Kourosh Cultural and Commercial Complex and Golrang Commercial Tower. I managed financial reports, accounts payable and receivable, internal controls, and risk mitigation.

I also served as a Financial Controller at Diba Design in Tehran, Iran, from May 2014 to July 2017. My responsibilities encompassed managing budgets, financial reporting, treasury transactions, accounts payable and receivable, and strategic planning.

Overall, my experience demonstrates a strong proficiency in financial management, cost control, budgeting, risk mitigation, and strategic planning across various industries and projects.

I hold a Master of Arts in Economics, which I earned from Dalhousie University in May 2021. Prior to this, I completed a Master of Arts in Business Economics from Tehran University in March 2017. My educational journey began with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Tehran Azad University in March 2015. These academic achievements have provided me with a solid foundation in economics and business, equipping me with the knowledge and skills to excel in various professional roles and contribute effectively to the field.
