As a junior editor at INKspire, a volunteer-run non-profit organization focused on young people’s writing, I was responsible for editing short stories, poems, and creative non-fiction articles. Within a year I was promoted to Creative Platform Lead, responsible for reviewing the work of the junior editors and ensuring that the creative platform runs smoothly. My work at INKspire has provided experience within a team environment while enhancing my overall skill set, including scheduling, quality checking, and managing content. Furthermore, I spent summer 2022 working as an accountant’s assistant where I was responsible for administrative duties and ensuring the accountant’s day ran smoothly. These two experiences helped prove that I am detail-oriented and highly organized, and helped advance my MS Office skills.
