Human Resources
About Paula Harrison :
I’m writing to express my interest in HR Coordinator opportunities. My professional background is in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), where I’ve developed a strong foundation in data management, process improvement, and HR systems support. While I’ve enjoyed working in technical roles, I am now intentionally transitioning toward a more people-focused and operationally involved position within HR — and the HR Coordinator role aligns perfectly with that direction.
This is a considered and meaningful shift for me. Over the course of my career, I’ve realized that the aspects of my work I find most fulfilling involve direct collaboration, employee support, and the human side of HR operations. I’m looking for opportunities where I can contribute as part of a team, support HR processes from the ground up, and be closer to the day-to-day rhythm of HR service delivery.
I fully understand that, on paper, I may appear overqualified for some coordinator-level positions. However, I want to emphasize that this is not a placeholder or temporary move for me. I am seeking a long-term role where I can apply my skills, continue learning, and grow within an HR environment that values both structure and people connection.
I would be happy to provide more detail about my experience, transferable skills, and motivation in a conversation. Thank you for your time and consideration — I look forward to the opportunity to contribute meaningfully in a coordinator capacity.
Warm regards,
Paula Harrison
Experience
As an HRIS Analyst, I have provided technical and functional support for human resources systems, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of employee data management. My experience includes maintaining and optimizing HRIS platforms, generating reports and dashboards for HR and leadership teams, and collaborating across departments to improve HR processes through system enhancements.
Key responsibilities have included system configuration, data audits, troubleshooting user issues, and supporting modules such as employee records, onboarding, performance management, and compensation. I have worked closely with HR, IT, and payroll teams to ensure seamless data flow and compliance with internal controls and privacy regulations.
In addition to technical expertise, I have developed strong project coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills—translating business needs into system solutions and training end users on best practices.
