My name is Walid Kafi I am an established filmmaker with over 11 years experience. I have worked on documentaries, commercials and short films as a director, D.O.P. and editor.

Previously my work has been featured on Hypebeast, XXl, Huffington Post, CNN, Al Jazeera, BBC, France24, PBS and many more. Established companies and artists such as eL Seed, Dave Chappelle, Mos Def, The Narcicyst, Talib Kweli and brands like Deloitte, l'Oreal, Ray-Ban, Adobe, Beyond Meat, Spotify, Lincoln and Uber Eats have trusted me with their image.

One of my videos where I was Director of photography and edited have been nominated for the 2017 Juno awards for "video of the year" category and won the MMVA for video of the year category. Also nominated for the Polaris CBC prize 2020.
