About Zarin Faizah:
I recently relocated to Windsor, Canada, from Bangladesh with my husband, holding a valid work permit.
Back in my country, I had served in HR at Nestle Bangladesh for 3 years where I demonstrated my commitment and proficiency in HR, contributing significantly to the Compensation, Benefits, Operations, and MIS Team. Starting as an HR Officer responsible for Operations, MIS, and Employee Services, I was quickly promoted to the position of Senior HR Officer overseeing Payroll, Rewards, Operations, and MIS after being a consecutive high performer for the last two years. I am excited about the opportunity to bring my skill sets and contribute to the job market here.
Experience
NESTLE BANGLADESH – Sr. HR Officer – Payroll & Rewards, Operations & MIS
During my Tenure in this role, in addition to my previous responsibilities, I also look after:
● Employee engagement initiatives: Working to enhance employee engagement and retention by implementing strategies and initiatives that promote a positive work environment. Worked on several projects such as Wellbeing Sessions, Rewards Roadshows, New Joiner and Employee Recognition Portals. Had to work closely with the global ITHR team to launch Automation portals and Employee engagement initiatives such as walkme popups for Sunday Motivations etc.
● HR analytics and reporting: Responsible for collecting and analyzing HR data to identify trends and insights related to employee performance, compensation, and benefits. Preparing reports and dashboards to communicate findings and recommendations to the management committee.
● Compliance and policy development: Responsible for developing, managing, and updating the organization's HR policies and procedures related to compensation, benefits, performance management, and employee development. This includes conducting market research, analyzing salary data, and designing competitive compensation and benefits.
● Collaborating Rewards Events: Collaborating with various stakeholders, including HR colleagues, managers, and employees, to ensure alignment and consistency in reward and practices. Have also worked with external vendors and consultants to implement and manage reward programs.
● Performance Calibration & Rewards: Assisting the Rewards Manager and Mancom Committee during the performance management process within the organization. This includes being in the calibration meetings and working on the promotion nominations. In addition, also preparing the Annual Bonus file, WPF file and ASR file.
NESTLE BANGLADESH – HR Officer- Operations, MIS and Employee Services
During my Tenure, I worked in the Compensation, Benefits, Operations and MIS Team to:
● Execute the monthly compensation and salary processes.
● Preparing and processing CTCs to aid in the compensation negotiation with new recruits.
● Coordinating all Management Information System processes.
● Executing and launching all HR operation initiatives with vendors.
● Maintaining and creating employee databases.
● Managing employee on-boarding processes and exit formalities.
● Implement activities as per the Employee Recognition Scheme.
● Maintain and updating HR Policy files with master approvals.
● Aid in Employee service delivery activities and coordinating all operational filing.
● Validation and Processing of all monthly reports, bills and coordinating the banking and Insurance process with vendors.
