- Understand the client's industry and recognize key performance drivers
- Stay informed of general business/economic developments and their impact to the client
- Provide value added consultative solutions to our clients on current business and financial conditions
- Monitor the engagement team's progress against the plan and alter it when needed
- Participate in performing Canadian GAAP, IFRS, and ASPE analysis procedures to assist in the planning and execution of financial statement audits
- Conduct timely performance reviews and provide performance feedback/training.
- A degree in accounting
- 3-5 years relevant audit experience
- CPA, CA designation or equivalency will be considered an asset but not mandatory
- or business experience in financial statement close or the application of accounting standards
