    Childcare Program Coordinator - Permanent Full Time

    On-Site (Stratford, ON)
    This position reports to the Manager of Children's Services.

    The Child Care Program Coordinator will oversee effectiveimplementation of a directly operated Licensed Home ChildCare network, and have oversight of all child care administrative supportfortheCity of Stratford,Perth County,and the Town of St.

    This includes responsibilityfor direct servicedelivery and monitoring of licensed Home Child Care including,evaluation,marketing,socialmedia elements.

    General childcare administrative duties including fee and wage subsidy processes, referral pathways and intake, waitlist maintenance and financial reporting, special needs resourcing allocations and program assistant support.

    Thisposition willfocusonachievingcompliancewithprovincialdirections andguidelines, withthegoalof ensuringthe best possible outcomes for children and theirfamilieswithinthe local service area.
    In collaboration with the Manager, supports the Consolidated Municipal Service Managerroleandhasresponsibilityforserviceplanninganddeliveryofan in-house Licensed Home ChildCare network
    Coordinate home child care providers in Stratford, St. Marys and Perth County while providing guidance and support to all homes under license
    Developresearchandexperiencedbasedpolicies and procedures for home childcare providers, while contributing to ongoing recommendations and revisions to support ministry compliance
    Complete childcare administrative support and funding reports for fee subsidy, wage enhancements, CWELCC, program assistants and service contracts

    Evaluate early years and child care service system delivery in Perth County, developing program marketing strategies and social media connections.

    Draftannual and ongoingreports, preparing or presenting statisticalinformation as required,includingattendanceandparticipationreportsacrosstheearlyyears , childcare, and home child sectors.
    Diploma(2year)inEarlyChildhoodEducation, Community Services, Social Services or Office Administration
    Testing will form part of the qualifications.
    Specialized Skills, Abilities, Training, License, Memberships, or Certifications
    Skills in program and budget monitoring, quality control, community needs assessment, data analysis and policy development.
    Exceptional administrative and organizational skills, ability to oversee a number of projects simultaneously
