    Description

    Job Summary:
    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our tight knit team. Ascari Enoteca is a small Italian pasta focused restaurant that has been established in Leslieville for over a decade. Everything is made from scratch and a ton of pride is taken in creating the modern Italian menu. Work one on one everyday with a talented chef and experienced FOH team. Successful candidates will be positive self starters with a minimum of 2 years working in high quality restaurant kitchens. Opportunities will presented for promotion with proven performance. At Ascari we work in an open kitchen and encourage a total team approach to service.

    Requirements:
    - Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a fast-paced restaurant environment
    - Knowledge of Italian cooking techniques and methods
    - Understanding of food safety principles and procedures
    - Ability to work well under pressure
    - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    - Strong communication and teamwork abilities

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 36 – 44 per week

    Benefits:

    Education:

    • Secondary School (preferred)

    Experience:

    • Cooking: 2 years (required)

    Language:

    • Food Handler Certification (preferred)
