    Upanup is seeking a motivated, full-time Digital Data Migration Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in transferring content between old and new websites, ensuring efficiency and adherence to accessibility standards within the Drupal content management system.

    This is an ideal entry-level position for a recent graduate who will get to work with an experienced team and have an impact on web projects that are important to helping people's everyday lives.

    What does the Digital Data Migration Specialist position entail?

    As a Digital Data Migration Specialist, you will collaborate within the DevOps team to execute the seamless transfer of content to new client websites. Your responsibilities will include:

    • Implementing efficient systems for migrating large volumes of text, images and document files from outdated websites to modern platforms.
    • Manually or programmatically transferring web content, applying proper structural HTML elements like headings, subheadings and lists, and processing verification reports.
    • Running content audits on legacy websites to extract well-structured importable content.
    • Organizing information and documents while managing priorities across multiple projects.
    • Assisting with quality assurance procedures and quality control testing to ensure deliverables meet client expectations and project requirements.

    What are the requirements for the position?

    • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a computer-based or communications program.
    • Strong understanding of HTML and how to organize content for user-friendly, accessible web pages.
    • Familiarity with computing capabilities to efficiently manage large volumes of content and data.
    • Proficiency and experience working in spreadsheet applications and website content management systems, such as Drupal and WordPress.
    • Capable communication and editing skills for spelling and grammar.
    • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to learn new skills independently.
    • Adaptability to changing priorities while maintaining a positive attitude.

    Remuneration and job logistics:

    • Permanent full-time position, with health benefits starting after three months.
    • Three weeks of paid vacation.
    • Paid personal wellness days.
    • Salary range: $48,500 - $55,000, based on relevant experience
