    Architectural Technologist

    Our client is a leading architecture and design firm based in Toronto, known for their innovative approach to architectural design and commitment to excellence.

    With a diverse portfolio of projects spanning commercial, residential, institutional, and healthcare sectors, they are dedicated to creating spaces that inspire and endure.

    We are seeking a skilled Senior Architectural Technologist to join their team in downtown Toronto.

    Position Overview:

    As a Senior Architectural Technologist, you will be responsible for leveraging your technical expertise to support the design and delivery of architectural projects.

    Working closely with project teams, you will play a key role in producing detailed construction drawings, coordinating with consultants, and ensuring that projects are executed following industry standards and best practices.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in Revit software and a proven track record of delivering high-quality technical documentation.

    Collaborate with project architects and designers to develop and refine design concepts, ensuring they are technically feasible and compliant with building codes and regulations.

    Produce detailed construction drawings, specifications, and schedules using Revit software, adhering to project timelines and budgetary constraints.
    Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate structural, mechanical, and electrical systems into the architectural design.
    Conduct site visits and inspections to verify construction progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure compliance with design intent.
    Mentor junior staff members and provide technical guidance and support as needed.
    Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance technical proficiency and workflow efficiency.
    Assist in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and project documentation as required.
    Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology or related field.

    Minimum 5 years of experience as an architectural technologist, with a focus on producing construction documentation for architectural projects.

    Proficiency in Revit software is essential, with demonstrated experience in producing detailed drawings and 3D models.
    Strong technical aptitude and knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction practices.
    Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
