- Create course curriculum that meets program objectives, standards, measurement, assessment and evaluation in the following course areas:ManagementMarketingAccountingEconomicsBusiness Technology
- Prepare and instruct the above courses through delivery in various formats. The use of a learning management system along with instructional technology is essential.
- Assist International students to understand and connect theory to real-life examples, and engage active learning techniques.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business or an equivalent is required with a preference given to those with Master's Degree and relevant work experience.
- Recent experience in teaching in a business area is desired and experience working with International students is ideal.
- Engaging interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to deal professionally with students and staff. In particular, you must be able to effectively work with students to facilitate and assess their learning with inclusive teaching practices.
- Organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks at once.
- A thorough understanding of diverse learner needs, academic, and cultural backgrounds of students.
- Commitment to inspire learner motivation and achievement.

About the School of Life Science & Business

The Opportunity - Instructor, Business Management - Temporary, full-time
Olds College School of Life Science and Business has an opportunity for Temporary Full-Time Instructor to teach in the Business Administration program. This instructional position will teach international students face-to-face on the Olds Campus. An overview of the Business Management program can be found on the Olds College website.
