    Description

    The Product Development & Mechanical Engineer oversees the development and testing of point-of-sale merchandising solutions including the analysis of proposals, conducting research, and overseeing a successful prototype fabrication.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to oversee prototype fabrication, ensuring compliance with engineering and customer requirements.
    Develop test specifications, procedures, and objectives, and conduct operational tests to gather data for development, standardization, and quality control
    Review and evaluate designs, recommending modifications to enhance functionality and address technical challenges.
    Provide technical expertise for product development and quality control initiatives.
    Analyze test results to meet design specifications and objectives, adjusting equipment as needed.

    Lead cost reduction initiatives, compile relevant data, and make recommendations for optimization, while overseeing all technical activities for product development.

    Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Proven experience in mechanical product development, preferably in a manufacturing or display industry.

    Strong knowledge of injection moulding from conceptualization to final mould part
    Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) software.
    Proven proficiency in Solidworks 3D and\or Rhinoceros 3D software
    Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
