This is an outstanding opportunity to join the Quark team as a Commercial Finance Business Partner, reporting directly to the VP of Commercial, to help deliver phenomenal financial results and ensure we are delivering on our aggressive growth targets.

The key responsibilities include:

The role will lead consolidating, analyzing, and communicating financial, commercial, and sales and marketing insights, including:

  • Collaborating with Finance teams to produce weekly, monthly and annual revenue and
    customer cash reporting, forecasting and providing insights on key variances.
  • Provide
    sensitivity analysis and scenario planning to senior management.
  • Identify and suggest opportunities for
    working capital optimization, including cash action plans.
  • A leader for change on
    business intelligence, providing key data insights via our visual platform.
  • Driving performance in weekly Finance, Commercial and Sales meetings
    holding key team members to account on projects.
  • Provide
    monthly sales targets based on a bottomup approach to deliver our revenue goals.
  • Spearheading all
    sales funnel performance analysis using a marginal gains approach.
  • Govern
    all distribution costs, providing monthly budgets and analysis of actuals to forecasted targets. Distribution costs include all sales team costs, commissions and marketing costs.
  • Providing
    deep customer insights on behaviour and demographics to drive optimized marketing and commercial decision making.
  • Providing analysis to the CFO on key
    Opportunities and Risks:
  • Working closely with pricing team to provide
    key market intelligence on competitor pricing and activity.
  • Monthly analysis of
    cancellation trends and any travel liability credits issued.
  • Collaborating weekly with key sales leads the CFBP will produce
    weekly sales critical metrics on performance and conversion, providing concrete insights to key partners.
  • Provide monthly
    return on investment analysis by sales channel. Reviewing performance on a unit economic level to optimize marketing spend by channel and drive the highest return.
  • Work closely with sales leads
    ensuring incentive schemes are driving requirement behaviours and recommending changes where needed.
  • Partner with the Senior FP&A director on the
    production of key board packs for Bi Monthly business review meetings [BRMs] and 3 year brainstorming meetings.
  • 8 years or greater of relevant financial planning and business analysis experience.
  • MBA or CA/CPA preferred.
  • Shown and extensive financial forecasting, budgeting and modelling experience
  • Advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel, proficient with PowerPoint, experience using business intelligence tools such as Power BI, SAC or Tableau would be an asset.
  • Consistent track record collaborating with senior lead of other departments. Interpersonal and communication skills will be critical in this role.
  • Strong financial understanding of general accounting rules with a consistent track record of dedication in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Experience in a dynamic business with a need for iterative financial modelling across a number of scenarios.
  • A willingness to be both a leader and a "doer" and an ability to work with mínimal direction.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and ability to successfully lead multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture.
