    Job Description

    The Technology Services Department is looking for a reliable Technology Services Technician who will be available for casual hourly work. The position involves the physical set up, removal, monitoring, and maintenance of wired and wireless data and voice networks for various events as well as installation and maintenance of MTCC network infrastructure. Hours of work will be based on business operations and work on evenings and weekends will be commonly required. This role reports to the Technology Services Management team.

    Job Skills and Requirements

    • Basic understanding of wired and wireless data network concepts
    • Strong problem analysis and resolution skills
    • Ability to work independently and in teams
    • Strong customer service skills with the ability to deal directly with customers
    • Meet physical demands of job (particularly walking, bending, and some lifting)
    • Experience in basic data network installation and device configuration
    • Availability to be on-call and work evenings and weekends
