    UVM Verification Engineer - SystemVerilog / Verilog / OVM

    • Are you an experienced Verification Engineer with over a decade in the industry?
    • Do you seek to be part of a leading semiconductor company specializing in ASIC and FPGA design, verification, and embedded software in Canada?

    We have teamed up with an ASIC design firm headquartered in Ottawa, providing advanced design services and proficient design teams focusing on semiconductors. They are in search of multiple UVM Verification Engineers to strengthen their Canadian team on a permanent basis.

    This opportunity allows for full remote work within Canada, and they are open to assisting with relocation for international candidates interested in joining.

    Please note - remote work from outside Canada is not an option

    What will be your responsibilities?

    • Lead the verification tasks for a specific block or an entire chip.
    • Design the verification environment architecture utilizing UVM.
    • Create documentation for test environment associations and formulate test cases.
    • Utilize constrained random verification methods when applicable.
    • Provide support for lab setup with direct test cases.
    • Execute code and functional coverage assessments.

    What qualifications are we looking for?

    • Over 10 years of ASIC verification experience.
    • Proficiency in Verilog, SystemVerilog, various hardware description languages, and scripting languages.
    • Extensive background in OVM/UVM methodologies.
    • Familiarity with constrained random verification techniques, assertions, and functional coverage.

    Additionally, the following experiences are highly desirable:

    • Prior involvement with SONET, OTN, Ethernet, PCIe is a notable advantage.
