    As the Email and Graphics Specialist, you will be responsible for executing and monitoring Lee Valley's customer journey email campaigns from development to analysis.

    You will dive deep into our customer data and learn how to bring even more value to our users through well-timed, targeted and automated emails.

    With your strong attention to detail, you will ensure all email campaigns are implemented, tested and executed flawlessly.

    In addition, you will have a strong technical tendency with a desire to learn and improve proficiency within our email marketing tool.

    This role will allow you to leverage both your technical and business-minded personalities when working on marketing initiatives.

    Not only can you develop and build email campaigns you can work closely with the Digital Graphic Designer to develop beautifully stimulating emails that will be responsive on all devices.

    Support, troubleshoot the development, configuration and testing of our triggered communications based on our customers' journey and their lifecycle.

    Own execution of email marketing campaigns from building templates, audiences, deployment, testing/optimization, reporting to drive engagement and conversion
    Review creative briefs to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and within agreed strategy and plan.
    Work with product and marketing stakeholders to ensure email campaigns are aligned with product strategies and user experience.
    Leverage user data to derive actionable insights about messaging and segmentation.
    Experience building marketing automation campaigns both technically and creatively
    Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator and Bridge software is required
    Proven success in working with cross-functional teams, such as Creative, Product and Data Analytics
    Understanding of CRM marketing concepts, strategies, and best practices
    A thoughtful, critical thinker who is resourceful, proactive, and a creative problem solver
    Manages projects, juggle multiple priorities in different stages of completion and work under tight deadlines
    A strong desire for maintaining high-quality standards
    Experience with Dot Digital, Mailchimp and Zapier is considered an asset
    Experience using a content management software
    Experience building marketing automation campaigns both technically and creatively.
    Proven success in working with cross-functional teams, such as Creative, Product and Data Analytics
    Understanding of CRM marketing concepts, strategies, and best practices
    A thoughtful, critical thinker who is resourceful, proactive, and a creative problem solver.
