    Summer Student - Chemical Production Labourer

    ERCO Worldwide has operated for over 100 years, focused largely on the production and supply of in-organic products along with technology for the production of chlorine dioxide.

    Today, ERCO's major business areas include sodium chlorate, chlor-alkali products, sodium chlorite, and chlorine dioxide technology.

    The ERCO business serves a number of key customer segments including pulp and paper, food, energy, agriculture, water treatment, airport de-icing, fertilizers and specialty chemicals.

    Summer Student – Chemical Production Labourer

    ERCO Worldwide is looking for a Summer Student to join as a Chemical Production Labourer at our North Vancouver site Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible and accountable for the safe, efficient and environmentally sound operation of their specific area while working on a 12-hour rotating shift schedule.

    You must have the ability to quickly respond to plant upsets and emergency situations. The length of the contract will be from April 1, 2024 to August 30, 2024.
    Experience working in industrial and/or process plant is an asset

    Education:
    Post-secondary two-year program in technical field – i.e., 4th Class Power Engineering Program is an asset
    Previous forklift experience with valid certification is an asset
    Capable of working a rotating 12-hour shift schedule.

    Hourly Rate:
