- Develop sales opportunities for Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions (SMR) product lines within the defined territory.
- Assess customers' total potential with SMR products. Perform opportunity analysis by customer and site.
- Act as a key contact for account and liaise with appropriate personnel to communicate.
- Provide input to Product Line Managers to address product offering.
- Develop a sales plan for designated territory.
- Maintain accurate customer records as prescribed by the Company.
- Assist as required in any physical inventory counts (especially any consignment stocks).
- Responsible for achievement budgeted revenue.
- Ensure Customer is in compliance with SMR terms and conditions of sale.
- Build long-term relationships with customer in assigned territory.
- Provide the company with regular status reports on business activities, opportunity development.
- Stay current with industry developments, competitive offerings and issues affecting sales and customers.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Technical Degree (or two-year College Diploma).
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in rock tools servicing, sales experience is preferable.
- Knowledge and understanding of the mining industry, specifically rock tools is considered an asset.
- Previous knowledge or experience with Sandvik products is considered an asset.
- Bilingual in both French and English considered an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical/data analysis skills.
- Computer literacy, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Software experience would be an asset.
- Strong customer service focus.
- Proactive with demonstrated initiative.
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 50 % of the time.
