What You'll Do
- Manage the entire lifecycle of the assigned project(s) from initiation and planning, execution, cutover, warranty and closure based on the processes, methodologies and artifacts designed by the EPMO for value driven delivery.
- Design upfront project plans, which includes project objectives and drivers, expected benefits, scope, approach, risks, assumptions and dependencies, budget, team composition, work breakdown structure, milestones, deliverables.
- Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with Senior Directors, Partner Management and Stakeholders.
- Manage proper signoff procedures throughout the project lifecycle and track project milestones/deliverables and report to Senior Management/Executive.
- Produce regular status reports and updates, GANTT updates, escalations, risk mitigation, financial tracking in the EPMO's project portfolio management tool (PPM) Workfront.
- Conduct project Lessons Learned and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
- Assist in the ongoing development of the EPMO methodology by incorporating new tools, techniques and ideas.
What You Bring
years' experience as a Project Manager, PMP Certification Preferred
- Bilingual (English and French) is an asset
- Experience in managing office tower moves or renovations
- Excellent Communication skills are vital (written, oral), ability to run meetings with Sr. Leaders
- Proven leader with the ability to motivate people to perform at their best
- Must be able to manage scope and facilitate decisions to ensure business value wins out
- Client service and high touch management will be essential to the success of the role
- Demonstrates the ability to multithread and manage multiple projects at a time
- Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project or any PPM tool
