- Develop and maintain Wildlife Rescue's patient release program.
- Lead the supervision and training of Wildlife Hospital personnel, including Wildlife Technicians, RVTs, seasonal staff and volunteers.
- Support revenue acquisition through the timely and efficient flow of data to the Advancement team.
- Ensure appropriate policies, protocols and standard operating procedures are developed, adhered to, and reviewed annually.
- Play a key role in the management of Wildlife Rescue's hospital facilities including oversight of enclosure repairs and maintenance.
- Support the data management practices of the hospital program including the timely and accurate entry of patient information into the organization's Salesforce CRM.
- Experience with wildlife rehabilitation standards of care, husbandry practices, euthanasia, and basic medical procedures.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, relationship-building skills, and a high level of integrity.
- High emotional intelligence, demonstrating self-awareness, social awareness, and empathy.
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and be highly adaptable to changing work environments.
- Experience planning and performing treatments including sample collection and lab results analysis, an asset
- Certified Wildlife Rehabilitator certification (CWR) is an asset.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and statutory holidays.
- All candidates must be willing to submit proof of current tetanus and COVID-19 vaccination and to obtain a criminal record check as per policy.
