    Description

    An award-winning law firm is seeking a tax associate attorney lawyer to join their growing practice. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow in a new role. The Tax group of our client provides exceptional opportunities for its associates to develop skills in both legal and client service. Our capabilities include M&A, capital market transactions, real estate, private equity, investment funds, financing, transfer pricing, commodity tax, and employee benefits. The group has also dealt with tax audits and disputes. If you are ready for a change, consider this great tax role

    Desired Background:

    • 5-10 years of experience as a tax lawyer at a law firm specializing in tax-focused transactions, tax planning and compliance
    • Commodity tax experience is a huge plus
    • Portable book of business, preferred, not required
    • LL.M. in Tax is preferred but not required
    • Licensed to practice in Alberta
